Lip Boost - Your Lips Boosted

We formulated the Lip Boost to care for your lips first and foremost.

Fact: the lip skin comprises a thin stratum corneum (SC) and no hair or sweat glands. There is a clear link between roughness of the skin on the lips & ceramide profile in stratum corneum in the lips. Additionally, the non‐keratinized epithelium of the lip skin is directly exposed to the external environment. It is for that reason we chose the highest quality ingredients in our Lip Boost formulation.

Organic Solvent-free, cold pressed Castor Oil - a monounsaturated fatty acid ricinoleic acid, a known humectant, meaning it traps water loss from your lips.

Organic food-grade Cocoa Butter is a natural emollient to help hydrate the skin. Rich in antioxidants to protect the skin against environmental damage. A study on cocoa butter shows evidence that antioxidants found in cocoa protect the skin from the inside as well as when applied topically by neutralizing oxidative stress, a major factor of dermal structure deterioration and premature skin aging.

Organic Shea Butter provides nourishing moisture to maintain healthy-looking lips, replacing the need for mineral oil. or petrolatum. It is one of the most bioactive emollients you can find in botanical ingredients. One of the most unique things about shea butter is its high content of unsaponifiable triterpenes. As the name implies, unsaponifiables are molecules that cannot be turned into soap. The main triterpenes in shea butter are lupeol, alpha-amyrin, beta-amyrin, parkeol and butryospermol. They have incredibly potent effects, especially when it comes to visibly soothing facial redness and neutralizing the oxidation caused by external aggressors, which is a leading cause of visible skin aging.

Organic Mango Butter is rich in fatty acids helps to restore and protect the stratum corneum.
