Cultivating Creativity Daily - Svetlana’s Daily Creative To-Dos
Creativity is at the core of joyful living. To cultivate beauty around us daily with things we love to create, make, build, collect is essential for a life filled with beauty.
Creativity is not a gift bestowed upon a select few; it's a skill that can be nurtured and developed through consistent daily practice and mindset shifts. Whether you're an artist, writer, entrepreneur, or simply someone seeking to infuse more innovation into your daily life, fostering creativity is key to unlocking new perspectives and solutions.
These are the essentials that fuel my daily quest for creative fulfillment, a pursuit I cannot imagine navigating without them.
1. Culinary Exploration: As a self proclaimed chef, I engage in daily experimentation in the kitchen, crafting innovative dishes and baked goods that delight both the palate and the senses.
2. Artistic Expression Through Pigments: I indulge daily in my oil-based Gressa pigments, transforming my face into whatever feels right in the moment. This doesn’t have to take an hour. Just a few minutes per day and I am delighted in how beautiful my mattes, shimmers, oil lip waxes are. I just can’t live without them.
3. Singing: I grew up as a trained classical pianist and singer, so this is a must. Each day, I devote time to immerse myself in the world of music, whether through the practice of singing or the study of new lyrics, allowing melodies to inspire and invigorate my creative spirit.
4. Evening Rituals of Self-Care: My nightly ritual is a non-negotiable. As part of my nightly routine, I take 10 minutes, when everyone is finally asleep to properly, gently cleanse my skin with my beloved Balancing Cleanser with Purifying Mist, Purifying Oil, Siberian Pineapple to follow with a deep tissue facial, neck and décolleté massage. Dental hygiene is of the essence here as well with flossing, brushing, a gentle mouth rise and tongue scraping. Dental hygiene is essential for clear skin.
5. Writing Pursuits: Nearly daily I make sure to dedicate 30 minutes to write a page. It doesn’t have to a cohesive piece of writing or an excellent, finished thought. I write my thoughts out to make space in my head as a way to create a progressive story that is, perhaps, related to my thoughts on beauty, life and the pursuit of peace for myself and my family.
Crelative tasks don’t have look anything like mine or anyone else’s. Creativity doesn’t have to be perfect or packaged in a way that will make sense for anyone other than you. That is what truly makes a creative. Every one of us is an artist inside after all.
