A personal letter
Hi dear friends,
Daily I receive questions about skin health. Today I got so inspired while writing a reply, I wanted to share it with you all.
I hope it's a beautiful day wherever you are.
Dear V,
thank you so much for sharing your story. Skin is such an intimate organ, yet it is the part of us that is exposed the most so it gets a ton of 'wear and tear', that's my own theory.
I always guide people to look deeper when it comes to inflammation/breakouts. I studied chemistry and nutrition before Gressa was born and hands down, no skincare will fully rescue our skin if our food is not doing its job at cleansing, detoxifying, hydrating us from within. So, with that said: drink a ton of water, sleep, get a great probiotic and omega's supplement, eat the rainbow (not skittles, the veggies ;). Now that we got that out of the way, let's move on to my favorite part: beauty products.
In comes Gressa. I suggest a very consistent, effective but non-invasive daily skincare ritual.
1. Balancing Cleanser that will moisturize your skin as you cleanse. No stripping, just supple, clean skin.
2. Rejuvenating Mist that will soothe, hydrate, replenish and tighten pores.
3. Purifying Oil that will truly work hard at getting your cells to turnover in a proper rhythm, clearing up blemishes and slowing down the little lines from becoming more prominent. I say 'slowing down' because there isn't a product out there that will stop it. And why would we want to freeze ourselves in time anyways? Time lines (some call them wrinkles) are a beautiful thing and a privilege to have if you ask me. (that was a mini rant, I think).
4. Get a SOLID weekly or bi-wieekly mask treatment. Dirty Pretty Things is hands down magic in a jar. But, if you like to scrub-a-dub, Renewing Polish is pretty incredible as well.
There you have it. I cannot stress enough about consistency. For nutrition and skincare. Consistency will provide you with skin that is predictable in its behavior, supple and glowing with radiance.
Let me know if I can answer any more questions.
With love,
Svetlana Sanchez
