Formulation

This preparation brings together Moroccan clay for purification, raw cacao for antioxidant strength, and vitamin C for radiance. Herbs and spices — rose, licorice, marshmallow, neem, calendula, clove, comfrey, chamomile, turmeric, and more — lend a symphony of clarifying, brightening, and soothing effects. It is both deeply cleansing and profoundly restorative, balancing intensity with nourishment.

The Ritual

Spoon a teaspoon of powder into a bowl and add water drop by drop until a paste is formed. Massage gently across the face and neck, then leave for thirty minutes or until dry. A gentle tingling is expected as the spices and botanicals awaken the skin. Remove with a warm, damp cloth. Follow with Night Repair Elixir or Purifying Oil to seal in nourishment.

Care Notes

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep tightly sealed to protect the integrity of powdered botanicals. Use within twelve months of opening. Natural variations in color and fragrance may occur, a reflection of the herbs and spices within.

Encased in violet apothecary glass, which protects and preserves the delicate potency of raw botanicals by shielding them from visible light. A vessel designed not only for preservation, but also for timeless beauty.

This creation is presented in endlessly recyclable violet glass, chosen for its unique ability to sustain freshness and its alignment with the traditions of the apothecary. Order Processing

Orders are prepared Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays, and typically leave the atelier within one to two business days. During launches, promotions, and holidays, please allow three to four. Orders placed Saturday or Sunday are prepared the following Monday. Processing time is separate from the delivery estimate shown at checkout.

Delivery estimates. Delivery windows are provided by the carrier and are estimates rather than guarantees. We are not responsible for delays once a parcel is in the carrier's hands.
Your address. We ship to the address as entered at checkout. Please review it carefully — parcels returned or reshipped due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be subject to a shipping charge.
Duties and taxes. International parcels may be assessed customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees on arrival. These are set by your country and are the responsibility of the recipient. A parcel refused at customs is refunded less shipping and any charges incurred.
Customs clearance. International transit times do not include time held in customs, which is outside our control.

Activated with water, the blend transforms into a mineral-rich paste that draws out impurities, clears congestion, refines pores, and encourages renewed brightness. Vitamin C supports collagen stimulation, while botanicals such as neem, calendula, licorice, and turmeric soothe, clarify, and heal. Oh the amazing gingerbread smell!

Oh the amazing gingerbread smell! I'm in heaven. This mask works so well at evening out my skin tone that I want to use it everyday forever!

I don't think there's anything like this delicious smelling mask on the market. It lasts forever and is a staple in my mask drawer. I feel like this is what beauty products should be like. Mix as you need, fresh gorgeous natural herbs and ingredients. I'm a forever fan.

Magical foamy effervescence

It bubbles into an effervescent foam, making it a dream to activate and apply. This works. I have been using since discovering it during the pandemic. May Lindstrom and Josh Rosebrook have similar masks that I also rotate in. But Gressa wins every time. The formula is extra special and packed with so many awesome ingredients that soothe my acneic skin. Highly, highly recommend.

As an esthetician I use and Love this product to soften pores for extractions without harmful acids or excess heat to the skin.

It smells really nice, like Christmas! It strikes me as a bit small for the price (it's probably just 7-10 uses max in a jar). Haven't noticed any effect on my skin, but it's a pretty nice mask. It takes quite a while for it to dry, so you need to set aside some time for it. It's ok, but probably wouldn't reorder.
