Yummy of the Day

This is SUCH a tasty snack.  It’s a smooth salad in a cup that tastes like dessert.  Here’s what you’ll need to blend all together:

  • 1/2 Apple (I used Organic Granny Smith Apples, they are lowest in sugar)
  • 1 Whole Organic Kiwi
  • 1/2 Organic Avocado
  • A cup of fresh Organic Spinach
  • 1 Organic Celery Stick
  • 1 tsp of fresh Organic Ginger
  • 1/2 cup of Organic Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp of Organic Flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp of Organic Raw Sesame Seeds

This tastes divine and aids a healthy digestion for the day.  Apple skin is full of Quercetin, a wrinkle-fighting powerhouse.  This is where juicing fails: you do not get the goodness of the  fiber and nutrients that are tossed away after extracting the juice alone. Spinach is no-joke when it comes to providing your daily glow with Vitamin K and 300% of vitamin A per serving!!  Kiwis provide more vitamin C than oranges and are full of fiber to keep that stomach following its job description.  Avocados are FAT but will keep you far from it. Plus, they moisturize your skin from the inside out.  Long story short, cut it, blend it, drink it up.  You’ll glow in no time!
