#PSL Minus the Gunk

Hello pumkins!

It's all about the punkin!

Here's our take on the Starbucks classic, minus the extra sugar and other not so favorable ingredients (that may be cause your skin to flare up, btw).

 

To make 2 X 12 ounce Pumpkin Spice Lattes

  1. 2 tablespoons of organic pumpkin puree (you can make your own or buy it in a can)
  2. 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  3. 1 tablespoon of equal parts of: cinnamon, cardamom, clove, nutmeg spices
  4. a pinch of black pepper powder
  5. 2 cups of steamed milk (any milk will taste good, almond, soy, hazelnut or plain old whole milk)
  6. 2 tablespoons of raw organic honey (or sugar to taste)
  7. 4 shots of esspresso (or you can also use brewed coffee with a splash of milk/cream)

Directions: 

  1. Mix the pumpkin puree, vanilla, spices in a saucepan and cook for a few minutes
  2. Steam your milk until hot
  3. Brew coffee or your esspresso shots
  4. Put 1 tablespoon of Pumkin Spice mix + 1 tablespoon of Honey
  5. Pour your coffee over it as well as milk
  6. Mix well 
  7. Enjoy!
